After more than a decade of teaching Pilates and dance at studios throughout Bellingham, I opened my own space in 2018, dedicated exclusively to private Pilates sessions. My studio combines the full amenities and professional equipment of a larger Pilates facility with the comfort and focus of an intimate, private setting.

Welcome! I’m Jaime Monsef, Owner of Align Pilates Studio. Since earning my first STOTT PILATES® certification in 2006, I have continued to expand my training with numerous additional certifications and specialty programs.
I hold a BA in Business Management and a BFA in Dance from Western Washington University, where I taught beginning ballet and was twice honored with the Monica Gutchow Dance Scholarship. After graduating, I performed with the Bellingham Repertory Dance Company, served as Head Ballet Mistress at Northwest Ballet Theatre, and taught Pilates at several studios, including Core Physical Therapy (now Core Physio)—where I discovered my passion for working with post-physical therapy clients.
Over the years, I have pursued extensive continuing education in areas such as osteoporosis, scoliosis, pelvic floor health, postural theory, pregnancy, and the hip and shoulder girdle. My teaching style is calm and supportive, with a focus on precision and body awareness.
What I love most is helping clients experience those “AHA!” moments—when the mind and body connect, and movement truly clicks. My goal is to leave every client feeling invigorated, strong, and confident in their ability to reach their fullest fitness potential.
In my free time, I enjoy dancing, hiking, cooking and spending quality time enjoying the Pacific Northwest with my husband and two sons.
